About the Fisher Youth Theatre Group

The Fisher Youth Theatre Group has been around for about 10 years now. We work with children and young adults from the age of 8 up to late teenagers. At times this can be very challenging.

Our activities involve the children in all aspects of putting on a live performance, not just performing. They can get involved in the backstage work, providing the music for the performances as well as acting. It helps the children, boosting their morale, team building skills and grows their self confidence. What's more the children really enjoy it. All you need to do is see the children perform to understand what allot it means to them.

All the directors, backstage staff, technical staff and committee give their services free of charge. We put on about two or three performances per year.

As with all youth organisations, all our helpers who come into contact with the children our police checked.
